Why Karate

You may ask yourself, “What does learning how to punch, block, and kick have to do with Life Skills?” and the answer is “EVERYTHING”!

ADHD and Martial Arts

For Children
Our instructors at All Star Karate take all of the skills that martial arts is known for and show our students how to apply those skills to their every day life. Skills like discipline, respect, self-confidence, leadership, and courtesy. These skills, which are not taught in elementary school, can help children be successful.

For Adults
Karate is great an excellent form of exercise. In addition to the great workout provided, at All Star Karate, it is also a group activity. Instead of wondering into the gym when you feel the urge, and often not making it in at all due to lack of motivation, you will meet workout buddies at All Star Karate. As a group activity, Karate training provides more incentive to exercise, and that is probably the most important component of any exercise program. The thing that is wrong with most people’s exercise routines is that they are lonely experiences which lacks motivation.
